8 - 10 year olds General American Accent 4 Week Course (Sunday 9, 16, 23 & 30 November)

🎭 4-Week General American Accent Course for Young Performers (Ages 8–10) Online via Zoom | Sundays | 9, 16, 23 & 30 November | 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM each week Join us for a fun, interactive 4-week online course designed for young performers (ages 8–10) to learn, refine and polish their General American accents in a playful and creative way! Each week, children will: 🎙️ Explore key sounds and mouth placements used in the General American accent 🔊 Delve deeper into accent awareness 🎧 Complete listening & mimic practice 🎭 Play imaginative drama games and activities — all while speaking in an American accent! 📜 Work on two scripts: 1 x Scene (partner/interactive piece) 1 x Monologue (solo performance) 🎬 Be encouraged to record a mock self-tape using their new accent skills, with positive and constructive feedback provided! To support their learning, each participant will receive a booklet — filled with fun exercises, visuals, and practice games that can be used both in class and at home. And, in the final week, we will host a showcase where each student will perform their chosen monologue in front of their peers! ✨ No previous accent or acting experience needed — just enthusiasm and imagination!
