PRINCIPAL
Dannika is a 2020 graduate from Performance Preparation Academy (PPA) and graduated with a BA (Hons) in Performance in Musical Theatre and has an Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance).
Dannika was honoured to win the "Best Teacher" Achievement Award the 2024 Black British Theatre Awards, sponsored by The Lion King UK and expresses her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who voted for her! She is a dedicated coach who always goes above and beyond for her students.
Dannika works for many other incredible companies, including Presto! Performing Arts, Southside Theatre Academy and Stagecoach Kingston & Surbiton.
At Presto! Performing Arts, Dannika manages a Saturday school, leads peripatetic 1-2-1 and 2-2-1 LAMDA classes with children aged 5 - 11 years old throughout the school day, teaches main school Drama and regularly chaperones trips to Disneyland Paris and local pantomime performances the students are involved in. At Southside Theatre Academy, Dannika leads peripatetic 1-2-1 and 2-2-1 LAMDA classes in all syllabuses LAMDA offer to 11 - 18 year olds and. And, at Stagecoach Kingston & Surbiton, Dannika leads an Early Stages Musical Theatre class for 3 - 6 year olds.
Dannika has appeared in Law & Order: UK as Jodie Gaines and iLL Blu ft. James Morrison's music video 'Lonely People.' She has appeared in Redhill's pantomime of Jack and The Beanstalk working alongside Strictly stars, James and Ola Jordan. In her third year at drama school, Dannika was assigned the roles of Linda Lou and dance captain in 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,' as well as playing ensemble in 'Chess' the musical.
Dannika is a professional actress and model, represented by Mark Jermin Management and Mentor Model Agency so is currently in the loop of auditioning and self taping! Dannika has most recently appeared in a feature film called 'Dead Fun' playing a supporting role named 'The Girls' Best Friend' and in a short film called 'The Things I'll Do to Be President' playing the role of 'Miss Phillips' both with The Spit Game UK. Dannika has appeared in a Cineworld 4DX campaign, an Ickle Bubba campaign for their 'Stomp Stride Stroller' and two beauty shoots for Boots, modelling their own brand 'Good Gut' and 'SPF+' products. And, she has recently filmed a short film called 'Woman to Woman' where she played the lead role, 'Her.'
